The Riding

You will negotiate narrow, sandy forest tracks, canter through wide valleys, pass through silver olive groves, and golden sunflower fields and swim in healing natural sulphuric springs. Group sizes vary from 4 to 10 riders. The rides cater to competent riders with past experience and a good level of fitness as the rides generally last for 5 - 6 hour per day. Australian stock saddles are preferred for the long rides, but English saddles are available on request.

The Belmonte Farm

Situated in the Montaione Territory of Tuscany among the fragrant hills that overlook Volterra, the area is justly famous for its unique natural beauty and excellent climate. The estate covers 200 hectares of rolling hills covered with forests, sunflowers, olive trees, wild rosemary, and Cyprus trees. Deer, wild board, badgers, rabbits, and porcupines populate the area. The typical Tuscan-style apartments preserve all the original, rustic, and farm-like characteristics. The farm also offers a private swimming pool and tennis court.
