MEXICO HORSEBACK RIDING ADVENTURES

CABALGATAS LA SIERRA

Enjoy a riding holiday in the colonial town of Valle de Bravo, located on the side of a blue lake and surrounded by evergreen forests and wildflowers. Savor the Mediterranean winters and Alpine landscapes as you siesta on a hammock or sip on a margarita after an adventurous day in the saddle.

THE RIDES

On every ride, guests are accompanied by a guide, fluent in English, and knowledgeable in flora, fauna, history, and culture of the area. The rides begin and end at Finca Enyhe while horses overnight at different stable stations. The rides are combined with cultural opportunities, town visits, and even a trip to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary.

Classic Ride

This 8 day/ 7night ride keeps you under the shade of pine and oak trees and in the saddle for 4-7 hours a day, allowing you to experience breathtaking countryside, an old colonial town, a blue lake, evergreen forests, and different microclimates. For intermediate to advanced riders, the pace is moderate with several canters and trots.

Relaxed Ride

This 7 day/ 6 night ride combines 3-4 hours a day in the saddle with free time to enjoy Finca Enyhe's heated pool and jacuzzi, billiards game, and small gym. In town guests may golf, play tennis, water ski, sail, delta fly, mountain bike, hike, bird watch, or enjoy the cultural richness of the town. This trip is suitable for any riding ability level as there is a slow pace with some trots and canters.

New Year's Ride

Similar to the Classic Ride, this trip begins on December 28, with a dinner in town on December 31. You can choose a shuttle home from town at 11pm or 1am, and no need to worry about the next day. The ride starts an hour and a half later than usual with a shorter day planned.

Cooking Fiesta Ride

Learn how to cook traditional Mexican dishes after a daily ride paced similarly to the Relaxed Ride.
