The Snowy Mountains, located in the south east of New South Wales are some of the most untouched wilderness that Australia has to offer. The Highland area contains most of Australia’s highest peaks, and is incorporated into Kosciusko National Park. Because of this rugged beauty, the best way to explore, conquer and immerse yourself in the Australian Bush is on Horseback.

Experienced guides will take riders along bush trails, old stock routes, fire and brumby trails, whilst winding through forests of majestic snowgums and mountain ash.

SAFARI
Safaris cater to a wide range of ability level and interest, but a reasonable level of fitness is required. Over a 6-day period, you may cover 100 miles within the Snowy Mountains, visiting trout fishing streams, a gold mine, Cave Creek, Currango Plain, Tantangara Creek, and Mt. Tantangara.

ACCOMMODATION
Your first evening and your last evening are spent at the Reynella, where you can eat and sleep before and after your journey into the mountains.

CAMPING
During the safari, you will be camping out under the stars. Provided are mattresses, tents, hard hats, and delicious three-course meals. If you choose, you may rent sleeping bags and oilskin coats. It is your responsibility to bring your boots and clothing including wet weather gear.
