THE NATURALIST CRUISES
The most popular way to experience the Galapagos, these departures put you in contact with nature as much as possible. This is ideal for bird watchers, and those interested in viewing wildlife up close.
Special activities include easy hikes, easy snorkeling, kayaking, and dinghy rides.
THE ACTIVE CRUISE
Ideal for adolescents and adults who want to get the most out of every day. The trip is great for adventure-seeking families and groups who are looking for a challenge aside from a restful trip. Featuring longer hikes, more opportunities to snorkel and go kayaking, and even the possibility to experience the richness of the islands from an entirely different perspective. How much or how little activity is entirely up to the guest.
Special activities include longer hikes ranging from intermediate to difficult that take you places not many go; more snorkeling to get a glimpse of the true underwater life in the Galapagos such as rays, turtles, and sharks; more kayaking to explore the cliffs, shores, mangroves, beaches, and coves; occasional diving of 2-3 dives for the week for certified divers who do not want to dedicate their trip to diving; and dinghy rides.
