Widely varied and catering to all levels of skill and interest, the diving around Santo and Bokissa has it all.

During WWII, Espiritu Santo was a staging area for US forces in the South Pacific. As a result, there is not only a lot of military surplus on the island but also below on the seabed. Struck by 'friendly' mines the SS President Coolidge now rests between 20 and 60m offering the worlds largest accessible wreck dive to anyone from novices to experts. When the US armed forces left the region after the conflict, vast amounts of military surplus was literally driven into the ocean, now constituting the must see Million Dollar Point dive. Many, many more world-class dive sites dot the local underwater landscape including the USS Tucker and Henry Bounaud.
To add to the multiple wreck dives, Vanuatu is one of the few places in the tropics where you can walk out of your bungalow, cross a white sand beach, and swim through a lush and healthy living coral reef.
Marine Biologists and underwater photographers who come to dive the reefs of Bokissa comment that these reefs offer a unique opportunity to see and study the diverse south Pacific coral reef creatures.
Hundreds of species of fish, hard and soft corals live in this protected marine sanctuary. They are quite tame, and the water is very clear making the Bokissa coral reefs perfect for underwater photos.
The island has a fully equipped dive shop with all the equipment you will need, from flippers to full SCUBA gear with Nitrox available for tech diving.
