You begin your journey in mid-afternoon when your guide will pick you up from Adelaide. You will travel through the scenic Adelaide Hills, visiting the German township of Hahndorf, Kuitpo Forest and Mt Compass. Arriving at Victor Harbor, you will now have an opportunity to visit the Fairy Penguin colony on Granite Island. The evening seashore is alive with the activity of these captivating little creatures. The evening seashore also provides the delightful setting for your dinner.
Urimbirra Wildlife Park provides one of the most extraordinary experiences. As many of Australia’s animals are nocturnal, this provides you with the ideal opportunity to discover a host of wildlife not seen during the daylight hours. Wombats, nocturnal birds and many marsupials come alive after dusk. And now you can meet them. Your homeward journey takes you to Willunga Hill lookout for a spectacular night view along the coast to the lights of Adelaide.
Departs: Adelaide at 3.30 pm and returns to Adelaide at 10.30 pm
