The Snowy Mountains' highest peak is Mount Kosciusko, which is 2,228-m/7,310 ft; this is also the highest peak in Australia. It offers a wide range of scenery from waterfalls and lakes to lush rainforest. It is also home to many of Australia’s wildlife species.
