Australia: Tasmania - Hobart: 1 Day Derwent River Rafting

For those who are looking for a gentle rafting trip that is suitable for all ages and most importantly visits great scenery, this is for you. Raft along the tree lined banks of the Derwent River, taking in the weeping willow and occasional Blackwood and gum trees. The Derwent flows through open farmland, past hopfields, paddocks with brown cows and fields of sweet corn. Tranquillity gives way to adventure as you encounter rapids at broken Bridge and the Railway Bridge.

Combinations of rafts, open canoes or kayaks are available to suit all types of guests.

Departs: Hobart 7.45 am and Returns approx. 5.00 pm
