 Australia:
Wildlife Experiences: Breakfast with the Kangaroos
After an early start you will
head to a specialist wildlife park where you can roam amongst
wild kangaroos in the lower Blue Mountains, whilst your
breakfast is being prepared. This is the time of day when
the abundant birdlife and resident kangaroos are at their
most active. Freshly baked Australian damper, assorted
spreads, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea, followed by
the chance to learn the ancient of boomerang throwing,
is all part of the Aussie Bush experience.
Proceeding to the upper Blue Mountains
after breakfast, you have the choice to view a beautiful
private garden, or take a short bush walk to a magnificent
lookout, where the views of the three sisters never fail.
Following lunch you will leave the
area to visit one of Australia's premier wildlife parks,
where koalas and other uniquely Australian animals are observed
at very close range.
The tour ends with a relaxing Rivercat
ferry return to the city via the Parramatta River and Sydney
Harbour. The earlier return allows ample time to rest and
prepare for the evenings activities, or the opportunity to
explore the historic Rocks area, a haven for those seeking
original aboriginal and local craft.
