Wildlife Experiences: Crocodile Hunter’s Australian
Zoo Tour
Heading north from Brisbane, through
the unique Glasshouse Mountains, Pineapple plantations and
beautiful rural countryside guests will arrive at the Australian
Zoo. Home of TV's Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, you will
have the opportunity to view the 20 acres of lush natural
habitat which houses over 550 species of wildlife. Grab that
favourite photo of the Koalas, Wombats, Kangaroos, Dingos
and Tasmanian Devils as well as the world's most venomous
snakes. The highlight of the day is when the keepers interact
and hand feed the wild caught crocodiles.
Morning tea of tropical fruit or tea
and coffee is served at the Sunshine Plantation, with lunch
being taken at the quaint mountain village of Montville -
renowned for its galleries, craft shops and boutiques.
