studs, dairy farms and grazing sheep.
Itinerary
Day1
Travel in luxury with your personal guide in 4WD comfort
through the famous Barossa Valley. Visit producers of some
of Australia’s best wine and gourmet foods.
Spend the day exploring this famous region with lunch at
one of the many fine restaurants.
From the Barossa Valley, it is a short
trip to your destination for tonight. Your destination is
the Murray River. This region, with its wetlands and lagoons,
provides a habitat for countless Australian animals and birds.
The huge gum trees and red cliffs provide a spectacular scene
for any photograph.
This evening will be spent on one
of Australia's most historic sheep stations by the banks
of the Murray River, giving you an opportunity to experience
real Australian country life. Tonight you will have a real
Aussie Country dinner – goes well with some wine from
the Barossa!
Day 2
Travel along the banks of the Murray River before heading through Outback scenery to the historic mining town of Burra, full of heritage sites.
