"WOW!!!!! We are having the adventure of a lifetime, we are so thrilled with our accommodations and the fabulous food. Everyone says that it couldn't be better. Thanks!
We did survive the bush camp, although it was a little hot. The morning chorus at the bush camp was out of this world!"

"The trip was wonderful. The places we stayed were fantastic. The Milford hike was our favorite, followed by the fishing. If we ever go back (we have a long list of places to visit), we would spend more time in Queenstown. What a neat place. The only complaint we had was that our seats on the plane were not together and people wouldn't move. So, if we wanted to visit on the 12 hour plane ride, we had to stand in the back of the plane. We will visit Australia. We don't know when that will be. But it is on that list I mentioned above. Thank you for all of your help."

"Hi Marjanna. We had a fabulous time on our trip! Adding on another week was well worth it because the time just flew by! We really felt we were able to see New Zealand as comprehensively as we had wanted. Thanks for recommending more time and sticking mainly to one country. The hotels and B&B choices were perfect. The locations were central with our desire to walk to most places. Hotel staffs and B&B hosts were outstanding and extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, sights of interest, shopping, etc."

" We are back...and what a wonderful vacation we had!!!!
Everything went smoothly...the motorcycle tour was great... On the North Island the B & B was the best...I would recommend the Hot Water Beach to anyone… wonderful host and what a view!! It such a beautiful place… I can't even tell you how many pictures we took. We had good weather over all...one very cold day on the bike and one very rainy day on the North Island….other than that, it was good. Thanks for all your help with the planning."

"We had a great time and I will send you a detailed feedback in a week or so. Heather was a big help over there. We changed from driving to Fox Glacier to taking the Trans Alpine Train and renting a car in Greymoth. Turned out to be a very good decision… We were getting tired of driving and the thought of an 8+hr. driving day didn't sound to good! Even at that, we ended up driving about 2700kms in 3 cars. Luckily, we didn't get any tickets or run into anything! Also moved our dolphin swim up one day and had a gorgeous clear sunny day with lots of dolphins and a humpback whale. The next day (our original reservation date) we woke to pouring rain and our swim time was cancelled! It's good to be lucky. Anyway, I'll get back to you as soon as I can and, again, thank you for all your help!"

"My trip was fabulous and I want to move to New Zealand now. I absolutely fell in love with the country the minute I flew in over Nelson. I have actually spent some time perusing the immigration web site and job opportunities for me!
Anyway, after receiving my luggage on day 4 of my vacation, it was all smooth sailing from there. Fiji was fabulous for snorkeling and the weather was great. But, I really loved NZ even though there was some rainy, cold weather. Every logistical aspect of the New Zealand adventure was perfect. I was much younger than most of the other folks on the Routeburn, but it was fine. If I had to make any sort of 'complaint' that would be it. I could go on and on about how much I loved everything and if you really want more details, give me a call sometime and I would be happy to talk more...I really loved, loved, loved NZ and can't wait to afford going back again! Oh, I guess the second complaint would be that I didn't fall in love with a local so I could move there, but I can't pin that one on you."

"We had a fantastic time. There were no glitches and the only problem was that it rained and was windy the day we were trying to catch trout---but that's life!!. You did a marvelous job in orchestrating the agenda and we were delighted with the balance- cities vs countryside vs sea/lake. The accommodations throughout were great with one exception... Many thanks for your efforts and patience. Some of our friends have expressed interest and of course we will send them to you if they are serious."

"I had a FANTASTIC time in Australia and NZ. Everything went more or less according to plan -- no missed flights or reservation issues (except for a limo pick-up at the bus station in Picton: I didn't realize that the pick-up had been arranged, and the bus driver offered to drop me off about two blocks from the hotel, so I left some poor driver waiting.) Today was my first day back at work. Much of my day today was spent making my co-workers jealous by showing them a photo album of the "best" 200 pictures out of the 3,000 that I have. I've had several people ask me what my favorite place was, and I really can't narrow it down -- just too many fantastic memories!
Thanks for your work in putting it all together."

"Yes, the trip was wonderful! We really appreciate all your hard work and attention to details you gave our trip. It was a trip of a lifetime. We were really surprised when Naturally New Zealand called us to ask how things were going - that was very nice. We loved the Pahia area and they arranged for us to stay there an extra night which we really appreciated. Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound were incredible - we kayaked on both and saw dolphins and penguins next to us at Milford. The day we were scheduled for the triple challenge, the helicopter and jet boat could not go out because of weather but we still did the rafting. It was 42 degrees F and pouring rain - we were soooo cold but it was fun and we survived. We also loved the Abel Tasman area. The heli-hiking was really fun too. We would love to go back and spend more time in New Zealand - maybe in 7 years when Dan has his next sabatical. All the places we stayed were very nice - Marahou, Daintree Heritage Lodge, and Copthorne at Pahia were awesome. The only one that I would not recommend was the New Presidential in Auckland - not very nice and the staff was very rude.
Everything went very smoothly - it was nice to have transfers at the airport too. No missed late flights or anything.
Thanks again for all your help!"

"First a little history. I found Kirsten thru the PureNZ website sometime late
in the summer and inquired about NZ tours but said I didn't really want to sit around all the time on a bus. I was really busy at work and the stress was pounding away at me. Kirsten worked around my crazy schedule here at work and came up with some good ideas and I was ready to give her the go ahead. However, I fractured my wrist playing ice hockey and my wrist was in a cast for 5 weeks. Kirsten was able to change my plans to December which was even better, summer, sun and more days! Ok, here was how my trip went:" MORE... |

"We're back from our wonderful trip. We wanted to thank you and the people in
Australia and New Zealand who helped to set it up. We thoroughly enjoyed our time
in Australia and absolutely fell in love with New Zealand. And, as promised, the
guided walks in NZ were fabulous. I must say, we were unbelievably spoiled
because on the Hollyford Walk we were the only ones booked in for the trip! So we
had the guide (charming and informative) as well as the lodge managers (wonderful
people!) all to ourselves. It was idyllic. Abel Tasman was also fabulous, but we
had to share our guide with 8 other people. Imagine that! (I'm kidding here). "

"What an incredible trip we had! We are grateful to the Grays, the Ebbs, and Joan Hitt for having the vision of the trip that they wanted. We are grateful to you for listening to their desires and turning them into the reality of a journey of a lifetime for us. We could bubble on and on about the experiences we had, and would be happy and willing to share any details that might interest you. Many thanks again for your fantastic work in planning our trip."

"You really hit the jackpot! Everything was terrific and came off without a hitch. It was a remarkable trip in every way. The top of the top were the B &B in Wellington, with Virginia Barton Chapel and the Able Tasman trip. Words do not describe. Virginia's place is breathtaking; she and I bonded and became fast friends. I returned with a sculpture of hers (she is a sculptor), which I treasure. The group at A.T. was extraordinary--from beginning to end. Guides were out of this world; companions were compelling and great fun, and the lodge was breathtaking.
I could write on and on--would love to talk. Feel free to give me a call for more details.'
In the meantime, will you send information to my sister about your company. She will be traveling around the world for one year and is looking for the Abel Tasman kind of adventure. I got the Adventure Company's newsletter and saw that you serve other countries as well as Australia and New Zealand. "

"Thanks for all your help in making our honeymoon wonderful and special.
Many, many highlights - too many to mention! Fiji was great all around.
New Zealand too, with particular mention of the Wilderness Lodge and sheep
farm at Arthur's Pass, the B&B on Waiheke Island, the scenery, and swimming
with the dolphins.Hope all is well with you and I look forward to planning more trips through you in the future."
