Socorro Islands – An Underwater Safari
26 hours by boat and a world away from the boisterous party scene of Cabo San Lucas lie four uninhabited volcanic islands sleepily tucked away in the Pacific Ocean. The Revillagigedo UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as the Socorro Islands, offer one of the World’s most immersive diving experiences with marine megafauna.
People of Tanzania – The Hadza
So often we focus our attention to wildlife when we talk about an African Safari, especially to a destination like Tanzania where the wildlife is so amazing, but the truth is there is so much more to experience. Tanzania – Tarangire
This is the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania (about 2,600 square kilometers) and is well known for large elephant herds. The name comes from the Tarangire River which runs through the park and provides a source of water vitally important especially in the dry season. There are also a number of swamps located throughout the park, more in the south, which dry into green plains making for stunning photographic scenes.

For me the answer is an emphatic ‘YES - Travel!’.
Magical Pemba Island
On our recent trip to East Africa, we visited Pemba Island. Pemba Island is part of Tanzania’s Zanzibar Archipelago and is the most northerly island in the chain. The Pemba Channel, with its coral reefs and abundant marine life, separates the island from mainland Tanzania and offers what is considered some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling off Africa’s east coast.
Vanuatu Moments…
This past May wasn’t my first or even my second visit to Vanuatu, but my fourth. “Where”? will be the first thing people ask when I tell them where I’ve been. Vanuatu is a small South Pacific island nation, roughly located in between Australia and Fiji. It is an archipelago of 82 islands; most of which are inaccessible to tourism.
